Oireachtas Is in the Air....

December is a BIG month for Irish Dancer.... It is their competitions to see who will make it to Worlds, which is in London this year....

I have 3 grandchildren who are Irish Dancers and have been dancing since they were 4.  My grandson Zane made it to Worlds the past two years and placed very well. Last year for Oireachtas he placed 3rd, which was one place up from the year before that. He competes again boys his age and there are ALOT of them...
Natalie is my oldest dancer. Even though her technique is outstanding. She hasn't place above 10th. She also gives private lessons and substitutes for other teachers. She is a beautiful dancer but the competition is really tough for the older girls.
Gracie is my youngest dancer, just turned 14, and this is her first year for Oireachtas that will count towards Worlds. But she is more of a having fun dancer than serious like her sister. However, saying that, she does place better than Natalie, only because there aren't as many competing in her age group.

 Here are my Irish Dancers.

As you can tell, I'm very proud of them for all their accomplishments whether they win or lose, I know that they are hard workers and dedicated to what they enjoy doing.
Thank you for looking.
